Default SNR and Line Attentuation Values.

    Hi,
I have an MTNL BB connection in Bombay which is giving me issues since April...
    The plan is Unlimited 495...
    Am using a Sterlite Modem...
Can anyone having the Sterlite modem post the Line Attentuation Values & SNR margin values if your connection is working good.

My modem shows SNR = 6 or 7
    Line attentuation = 40+....

    Regards,
    Addy

PS: DoesSplitter problems too give such SNR & LA values...?

    Default Line disconnection

Why frequent disconnection happens? My adsl light goes off frequently. I used my modem line from a joint from the main line and from that joint phone also connected parallelly. Is this reason for frequent disconnection. I noticed when somebody picks up from other side the adsl goes off. Please suggest remedy. I am using 1 mbps download plan (combo paln) unlimited.

    Thanks

USE an ADSL splitter. All phones to be connected only after the filter.
    see diagram.
    SL2_141 ADSL MODEM (Type-B) CONNECTION
