Default Port Forwarding Issue MTNL DNA-A212

    Hi Friends,

I want to direct data coming on port 8080/8084 to my router(MTNL DNA-A212),
so for this purpose i need to do port forwarding on my router.
I searched for it and found two ways to do it
    1. In advanced setting in NAT add a custom server defining the LAN ip address and the port to be forwarded
    2. Set DMZ host as the lan ip where the data to be forwarded.

I have tried both the methods but still can't access my laptop on lan(192.168.1.3) which has a apache server on port 8080/8084.

Can anyone suggest what i am missing here?

All ports are open if you are in "bridged" mode.
Presume you are in "AlwaysOn " PPPoE mode
    .( userid/PW stored/entered in WAN page)
    (1)
    Check DDNS menu item/option..
    (2)
    Check in Portforward.com
same route model or UTSTAR WA 3002_g4

    Thanks for the reply.
I checked out the portforward.com it said i need to open two ports to make access apache services one 80(8084 in my case) and 443 other
I did that and both my port are being forward as i can see both the port are open online, but still when i can the ip 192.168.1.1:8084 i can't get to apache homepage.

What i understand from this is that my router ports are pen now but they are not been redirected to my laptop.
    Any idea what's missing now?

Also "Check DDNS menu item/option" could elaborate a little more, i didn't unterstood what exactly to be checked?

    "Check DDNS menu item/option"
Since you have a Dynamic IP Dydns gives a fixed address.

Well, currently my problem is not that i have a dynamic ip because even when i try to access 192.168.1.1:8084, my router donot forward data to my laptop, maybe this loopback connection is creating a issue???

    Any idea regarding it...

when i try to access 192.168.1.1:8084,
in the LAN ? Then why the PORT number ?
When you are connected to Internet check your ip
    Retype it in address bar.
your modem/router access will be available.

If you want to access your Server from out side the server address cannot be 192.168.1.1:8084

I cannot access your web server via Internet with above IP address.

    ok there is some misunderstanding,

now the port 8084 because my apache server is running on that port and just to test as of now locally that whether my server(apache installed on my laptop) could be accessed locally mean if i try to access it through internet then i need real iportnumber to access it.

Basically i want to access my apache server through internet that means all data coming on router should be forwarded to my laptop, but i am unable to acheive it and couldn't figure out the problem....

    Thanks for the quick reply,
i selected all boxes in access control page but nothing happened.
Now here is my situation i have a router with ip 192.168.1.1
my laptop ip is 192.168.1.3 on which a apache server on port 8084(could be changed) is running having a WAN connection with router
A desktop with ip 192.168.1.x having a lan connection with router.

What i want is that i should be able to access the apache from internet.

Now i have forwarded port 80,8084,443 by setting up NAT services in router on these ports to my laptop ip address.
I have also checked all the access control check boxes for lan as well as wan.
But still if i hit my dynamic ip from a browser i am directed to my router first page only and has no clue how to access apache homepage.

Am i missing something or doing something wrong or my router donot provide such facility.
    I have a mtnl DNA-A212 router.

Any help will be really useful
