If you have an ADSL modem already connected to MTNL in PPPOE "AlwaysOn" mode ( username ID/PW stored in modem )
connect rj45 from adsl modem to Lan 1 and another rj45 from lan2 to computer.
Try LAN mode initially and if successful give feedback.

i am unable to access the video. I have the sterlite sam 300 AX modem but recently changed to the netgear modem. i am presently accessing modem with my sterlite one but need to do the same with netgear, please help man

Please keep sterlite Sam 300AX as standby. No changes.
Download the manual please. and try the instructions.
Mention OS used : Windows 7/Vista/XP SP3 etc.

It worked. You have to change the lan settings to the mtnl gateway 192.168.1.1 and then bingo it worked.....
