Thread: Why is MTNL 2Mbps Unlimited still so costly in Mumbai?

I was thinking of going for 2Mbps Unlimited without any Fair Usage Policy and data capping but after seeing the prices on their websites I changed my mind, I mean if it was below Rs.2000 I would have gone but Rs.4999 is just too much, why don't they start providing good speeds, I mean when I was in France I used to get 25Mbps Unlimited at mere Rs.1000 with satellite T.V, Why is Internet so costly in India, govt companies, political leaders need to wake up and start focussing more on Internet broadband sector from now on, I am totally dependent on Internet for all my Entertainment and business needs, hope MTNL officers are listening to what I am saying, hope they reduce prices and provide decent speeds at affordable prices ASAP.

France is in Europe & is the best country for Internet, far better than the others in Europe as well.
They are far more advanced in Telecom...
Coming back to India, here Internet is still growing
Might take some time to be there with FRance or others possibly...
