You should specify the radius of wifi activity.
Say 20 feet radius or 30 feet .
    Also the height involved.
    2.
Keep the wifi router at a higher plane away from
    walls/ obstructions etc.
If the antenna of 450TCI is detachable consider
    adding a higher gain antenna.
If there is an option to select MAX power in wifi
    settings page select it.

Wifi signals basically "line of sight" propagation.

Try a 2N wifi router with multiple antennae.
or another wifi router say for Rs 1600/= which can be
connected with Rj45 cable, and kept in a different location
    depends on your budget.
Buffalo make wifi routers cost more, but may be suitable .

    @abc693
    Please see previous post.
Any wifi router will work. If available on RENT from MTNL try it.
The range of WIFI is limited,

please intimate the radius of WIFI access you need in your Location ( also the height involved : within groundfloor/first floor etc ) )

Do you use an adsl modem now? /
    give details of make/model/number.

    I use Netgear WGR614 V6 ( cost approx Rs 1500/=)
plus Beetel110TCIand range is about 20 to 30 feet in ground floor.

    Hi,

I am using Sterlite Sam 300 ax modem. However I am planning to return it to MTNL as it is going to charge us for the same from this month. I will be using it on the ground floor to connect 2 pcs wirelessly. Need a wireless range of 20 to 30 feets. I need a ADSL2 wireless cable modem.
Please suggest the MTNL compatible ADSL2 wireless modem + router. Also the settings to configure the ADSL2 wireless modem/router.
    Thanx in advance

Even I use the same and I am thinking to get a Wi-Fi router from market which would help me out.
Can I have the wi-fi router connected to my current modem as I need stable connection for desktop and wi-fi for laptop work and using net on cell phone.
Kindly recommend a stronger wifi router.

semindia dna 212 or DNa 213 may be available from Rs 1500/ onwards.
    ( based on/ same as/ UTstarWa3002_g4/Beetel 450BXI)
This is the model BSNL/MTNL supplies to most of their users.

    (2)
Another model Binatone/Beetel 450TCI ( same as Utstar wa 3002-G1etc Sam 300AX (less wifi?) recheck )

If MTNL wifi model is satisfactory above also will work for the same range !!!!

As told earlier all ADSL modems wifi routers are compatible with MTNL.
Prefer you shop locally and buy any brand choose price wise.
    Netgear/Dlink/linksys/TpLINK/SMC/Iball baton/Buffalo etc.
the local dealer will replace the unit in case any problem with the unit.
    Cash bill essential
I think I gave ebay.in link here or in some other thread.
Please wait for.other member's recommendation who are using these
    brands.
I had no trouble with Netgear WGRv6 wifi router. ( needs additional adsl modem ). Linksys dual Antenna type also used without problem.
Will be recommending TPlink model later. or correct model numbers .

PS: Most of the units listed above will be MADE IN CHINA!!!

Default I recently got DIR 524 N150 (Dlink)

I was having wired ADSL 502T (Dlink). I got DIR 524 N150 (DLINK), but cant figure out how to configure the same.

Another problem is that I also use mtnl's IPTV. Is there any other thread for configuration details, so that my laptop (wifi), desktop(Wired) and TV works.

I tried lot many options (((
