unable to use NETGEAR DGN1000 with mtnl

hi there
I have recently purchased a netgear dgn1000 modem router to replace the one given to me by mtnl.

Ive been unable to get it to connect it to the internet for 2 days now(the internet light is a steady red while others are green)

The previous modem works fine though(the one im replacing).

Beetel 450bx1: did you enter USERID/PW externally to connect ?
you want to use the same dialer to use with Netgear ?

You should connect ONLY the NETGEAR which has an adsl modem builtin.
You have entered your ID/PW already in Netgear.
enter the Ip details.

In PPPoE "always On ' mode. system connects to Internet automatically.

finally after 2 days the mtnl guy came..dunno what he did but got the modem working

congratulations.
Hope you got wifi mode also working.
Atleast now post the working screen shots of DGN1000.
Will help other new users in the forum.
