Thread: How to configure ADSL 502T with DIR 524 N150 (not DI 524) and IPTV connectivity

Dear All,

I am using ADSL 502T modem for
1. Desktop (Wired)
2. TV (IPTV via mtnl aksh)

Recently I got a DIR 524 N150 (Wireless router), it does not have Phone line input.

My 502T is configured as

PVC0 - on PPOep with userid-password (phone no and CA no)
PVC1 - Bridg mode (I think, this is for TV to work)

- 502T usb output goes to Desktop
- 502T ethernet o/p goes to TV set-top box.

MY questions are

1. Will the new router help me connect my
- Desktop (Wired)
- Laptop (Wirelessly) and may a ipod also (not apriority)
- TV (wired)

2. How to configure things, as I have tried few settings. Can some one please share a standard procedure (step by step).

phone -- > adsl modem (wired) -- > wireless router -- > settop-box
