i bought a new wifi modem beetal 450 tc1 i want to configure it with mtnl broadband tell me the whole procedure plz

1.
Which modem you use now to connect ?
2.
With factory settings: ( MTNL settings if purchased from MTNL)
If with a dialer you enter mtnl userid/PW in system window
you may connect.
3.
If not:
vpi vci for MTNL 0 and 32 ( Select say PVC1)
Rest settings common. ( userid/PW mtnl)

Assuming you are using/familiar with SamAX300 to connect to internet now.
( as you have not specifically replied to this effect )
(2) presume you could not see/follow the screen shots given in my
signature link Beetel450TCI.
(3)Select PVC0 and select /enter VPI/VCI 0 and 32
Rest of the settings copy from SAM AX300!! similar menu pages. !!!

thanx for the help i have configured it but the wlan light keep blinking what may b the problem???

Confirm you get connected in LAN mode to internet.
Remove rj45 from same computer/laptop if trying WIFI mode.
( except when OS is Windows 7)

Check the default SSID and security key. if any
or try without any security key.
The ssid : does it appear in your wlan settings of laptop ?

actually my lan port is not working i configured it from another laptop and my os is windows seven now the wlan light is not showing.i am not able to access the modem what should i do now

With power on Press the RESET switch in the rear for about 10 to 20 seconds.
Factory settings will be restored.
Now try Dialer mode and enter your MTNL id and PW in system window.

If not getting connected
try 192.168.1.1 Id admin PW admin ( or password )
Select PVC1 and enter vpi/vci 0 and 32
Select PPPoE
enter Mtnl ID/PW
activate all Buttons.( except Mac filter)
SAVE
Check connection status Device info page.
If connected try Lan mode.

If wifi gets disconnected try in LAN mode.
Check system log / Status Device info.

Which modem you use now to post messages here ?

First learn to set the NEW Beetel450TCI to work on LAN mode and wifi mode in your laptop.
Does the SSID appear in your laptop?
Did you try Windows 7 automatic diagnostics ?
What is the error message for both LAN mode and WLAN mode ?

i have configured the beetal 450 tc1 to work in lan mode as well as wifi mode right now m using the same beetal 450 tc1 but the problem i m facing is whenever i restart the modem the wifi mode get deactivated on its own then i have to use lan wire to access the modem and then chande the wireless mode to activated ..plz suggest a permanent solution for this

After SAVE wireless settings
Reboot from current settings page in the router.

the problem is i save the setting but when i restart it the setting are lost the wlan mode gets deactivated and then i have to use lan to access the modem den activated it again n i dnt want to use lan again n again so tell me some solution for it..

AFTER clicking SAVE in wifi page,
did you select System Restart
from current settings?
A slider will show rebooting.
You can also deactivate ACL and CWMP boxes. SAVE.
Reboot as above.

i have deactived the acl and cwmp but the setting changed aftr one or two days so i have to wait for one or two days den i would let you if its working or not..

i tried the thing that you told me but the problem is still the same

Have you selected Dynamic IP in the page where you
enter USERID/PW
Also for DNS auto discovery. Do not enter values.

yeah i have used dyanmic ip n there r no values in the dns server

Deactivate all other PVC's except the one in use.
Usually when Status Device Info is selected PVC0 is the default page.
All PVC's will show SNR/ATTN data .

i have deactivated all the pvcs and find the attachment of the wireless

I have to read all the 21 posts again and again to find out your problem.
It would help if you summarise the steps taken and the present problem. This will help other members also to give suggestions.

Para two:
What about SSID2 in it MNGMT with key 0987654321?
Can you change any SSIDs or security keys ?
or both SSIDs "greyed" No changes posssible.

i bought new beetal 450tc1 from outside not mtnl an i configured it myself with lan now the problm i m facing is if the chnage the setting the rebbot the modem after saving the current setting the wifi mode in the interface setup gets deactivated itself and whenever the power is off and i switch on the modem again tha wifi mode gets deactivated and then i have to use lan again to activated the wifi mode

Confirm No problem in connecting in LAN mode.
Do You have to RESET values in wifi page only. Does it revert
to AIRTEL MNGMT SSID1 or SSID2 etc.
or ONLY AccessPOINT button has to be selected ?

check this. deactivate. Post No 21.
After making changes SAVE reboot from Modem. from current settings.( Maintainance)

no only access pont has to be changed nthng else all the setting remain intact
