Default My router resets/stops working when a phone is received or disconnected

    Hi,

As the topic states my Wifi router sort of disconnects or resets when a phone is received or disconnected i've been living with this bug for like many years then i came across this forum thought i'd ask you guys, it basically loses the blinking internet light when the same happens. I wanted to know is it a regular bug ? A modem problem ? internet problem ? any solution for the same ?

Also i wanted to change / upgrade the firmware of my router will edit the post and update the version it's a D-Link the stock wifi modem. Is it a good option ? for security point of view ?

    Thanks and Regards,
    Digi_Fort

Hope you have connected ALL phones to the ADSL splitter Phone Port.
    Teracom Type-II ADSL MODEM CONNECTION

confirm the phone is not a cordless type
or in the freq band 2.4 GHz.

Mention model number of the Dlink wifi router used and ADSl modem if used.
