Thread: MTNL bill payment and customer care

I got the hint of the kind of service m gonna get with MTNL while i had to literally beg for a month to a new connection. Now that i have a connection, nobody cared to tell me the basics like setting my online account(if it exists) or telling me how to pay bills. So can anyone tell me some things in these regards. I checked the online website of MTNL broadband, but its a total mess. I cant understand a damn thing. What all services can i have online through MTNL ?
Also, i wish to pay my bills online. Can i do that?? Or any option other than standing in lines in front of exchange.

I tried searching for MTNL online bill payment and a couple of links popped up. Depending upon whether you are located in Mumbai or Delhi, use the appropriate portals to pay your bills online.

1. you can pay postpaid bills from MTNL website.
2. you can also register for ECS direct debit from you bank and get 1% discount on bill amount
3. you can register through bill pay service of your credit card / bank and pay online. but no discount on bill in such cases.
