Default Has anyone used/using the DSL NU 849 Plan ? I have some questions

    Hi,
I live in mumbai & I have some questions about the DSL NU 849 Plan :

1.)It says its 256 Kbps/upto 2Mbps on the tariff page.Do you really get speeds beyond 25kbps download during the day or night...2mbps if im right is like 200kbps download.Does this ever happen ?

2.)Is it true unlimited or will they block you if you download too much ? Iv had this problem in the past.

3.)Doe they block ports.Specifically the ones that are used by p2p or bittorent file sharing softwares ?

4.)Is it 256kbps upload and 256 kbps download seperate lines or is the bandwidth split into both ?

    5.)Is there any Downtime ?

    6.)Negative if experiences if any

    Thanks in advance

    Default port forwarding...

for p2p torrent clients... you can go to the router and enable port forwarding.. this will increase up to 60kbps.. at least... if u are using utorrent then follow these steps ( i have applied them in DSL 502T router).

    1. In Internet Explorer (dont use any other browser) enter "192.168.1.1" (without quotes ) in the address bar..

    2. Enter your username and passowrd for the router..

    3. Go to the "advanced" tab..

    4. Go to "Virtual Server" Tab.

    5. Select the user Option from the Virtual Server Menu..

    6. Create a virtual Server " Port Beginning: 42222 and Port Ending: 42229"

    7. Save it.. add it to the active list.. and the save and reboot your router..

    8. It works on 80% of routers...
