I will be staying in West Delhi for a month and need broadband access - the usage will not be that heavy and I will have my own equipment. I don't want any contracts or terms - cheap and cheerful! Are there any plans/alternatives for such a short term period? e.g. Pay As You Go or Pre-Paid plan?

I don't particularly want unlimited access etc., as the connection will be used for general browsing and picking up email. At present the line is not active - but was provisioned by MTNL previously for telephone services. I have read on the fourms that it can take anything upto a month to get the service!

Are there any ways to check availability of brodband in my area?
