    Mention modem/router model/make number.
Change MTU value ( usually in WAN page ) to 1460 and try.
    If not successful give feedback.

Do you mean some other website opens instead of the one you want to go to? If thats the case you need to screen your computer. Scan using your security application you use but make sure it is updated and also disable any tool bars that you may have installed yourself or accidentally.

Which browser do you use? If its internet explorer then I would suggest you try out firefox or opera and see if you like them because they are less vulnerable to security threats as compared to IE.

If your browser is redirecting to other sites then try running a scan on your computer using Malwarebytes but if you are getting redirected to some MTNL page or Page Can Not Be Displayed then consider changing your MTU to 1400, 1460 or 1492 and try to use universal dns as 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1

If it doesnt help then unplug the router and directly connect to modem and check it again, update
