Default Conversion from WIRED broadband to WIRELESS wifi

First thread here, so please forgive the mistakes.

Now I have a wired MTNL Triband connection. Since now I have two more smartphones as well as a PC and a Wifi-enable laptop in my house, I want to convert it to a WIFI connection.
Currently I have the UT-300R2U router.

I have absolutely no idea on how it is done. Can someone guide me to it ?
    Certain doubts :
    1) Can I just simply change the router to a Wifi one ?
    2) or if not what all is needed ? Do I need a wifi modem and a wifi router ?
3)What do I have to get done from MTNL's end ?
4)What do I have to add in my PC ? Is any WLAN card needed ?

You may go for a Wifi ADSL modem.Enquire at MTNL office whether its providing it or you may buy one from market.

No, the router should have WiFi facility.

    2) or if not what all is needed ? Do I need a wifi modem and a wifi router ?
If a modem is already provided, you just need a router. Else buy an ADSL Router.

3)What do I have to get done from MTNL's end ?
The connection of course! And modem, if they provide. (Ask for the WiFI enabled one)

4)What do I have to add in my PC ? Is any WLAN card needed
Yes, PCI add on cards or USB adapters are available in the market to make desktops wireless!

Thanks guys. Ok so a card is needed for my desktop.
So I don't want to rent anything from MTNL. SO what all should I buy from outside ?
Like as I said i have UT-300R2U router provided by MTNL.
DO I have to chuck that and buy a new wifi router and wifi modem ?

Yes. Either a PCI Card / Wireless USB Adapter for WiFi

Check with MTNL what all they are providing free? If only modem, buy a wireless router.
If nothing is free, buy a ADSL modem+router(this is a single device).

Like as I said i have UT-300R2U router provided by MTNL.
This would be ADSL modem + Router. Does this have wireless facility? If not, buy the router only. If this UT-300R2U support wireless, why do you want to buy a new one?

DO I have to chuck that and buy a new wifi router and wifi modem?
No need. If the existing router doesnt have wireless option, you may buy a new rouer.

Well, from what I searched everywhere. The UT300R2U is not wireless. However it can be connected to a Wireless router to make a wifi connection as stated in another thread. (I can't post links right now)
Will it work for me then ?

Yes. So all you need to buy is a wireless router. Hook up the new router to UT300R2U, and this will work. Happy Browsing!
