Anybody else suddenly experiencing high pings like 167ms?

Just did a speedtest twice and I got 167ms ping time both times. I have never had such a high ping. Is anyone else experiencing a similar problem in mumbai or elsewhere from mtnl?

yes i am getting the same 167 ping on speedtest vodafone server from past 1 month is there a fix or i hav to change my isp ?

I am on MTNL and I have seen higher latency for some time now. No idea what is causing this.

My latency issue is gone and I am getting goo pings to servers inside India. I am on Mtnl 3G.

Yes its the same gaming ping. It basically means the time that data takes for reaching your computer from another server. Its not much noticeable while browsing unless you are used to really low pings and super high speeds. It is a nuisance for online multiplayer games because one moment you are there and the next moment you are somewhere else like you teleported. High ping users get banned quickly from gaming servers. If your ping is below 50, you are okay.
