MTNL Fibre to the Home Unlimited Tariffs

Presentely, MTNL Fibre to the Home (FTTH) services are available in limited locations / buildings. For more details, please contact nearest CSC or call center on 1505. Builders and New housing societies may contact Area GMs for bulk booking.

MTNL provides fasta fast broadband connection using fiber technology which is called Fibre to the home FTTH, but this service is only provided in Mumbai. The FTTH connection gives speeds of up to 10 Gbps, and easily allows users to use services like video on demand, 3DTV, HDTV, video conferencing, gaming andmuch more. FTTH services are not available in all of Mumbai and only in limited locations, so in orderto get a FTTH connection you would need to find out from MTNL customer service team on 1505 to where the FTTH service is avaliable.

Unofrtunatly FTTH is not avaiable in the area I live in, but my cousin has it, and he gets some really impressive speeds.

Not bad....just too bad the FTTH coverage is low, it should be covered in more areas even if its only provided in one circle.

Do you really get the speeds that are mentioned?

Well so far he is getting the stated speed. Have to see if the speed lasts or not or changes after some time.
