I am using MTNL broadband with GLB-502T modem. I recently bought a D-link DI 524 wireless router from the US and tried connecting it after the modem. It refused to work for a very long time after lot of tries, settings, reseting etc. One fine day I attempted to connect it the same way as I had done in past and it started working fine. But that didnt last long and suddenly once, while I was surfing it stopped and the status light refused to come on. I tried resetting it, even then the Status light is not coming on. Lot of ppl told me, its broken. I went to Dlink workshop and they refused to just check and let me know if it working or actually broken, instead asked me pay Rs. 250, keep it for 15-20 days and then revert. Can anyone help and tell me if it broken in terms of some hardware or its just a settings problem. Thanks for your time.
