Hi everyone...
I am using a MTNL Broadband at home. I have a desktop (running WinXP) and a laptop (dual booting Ubuntu and Vista). I connect the laptop wireless using linksys router WRT54G. Both the modem and router have IP address 192.168.1.1 and the router is set in PPPoE mode. Also, DHCP is on on both devices. Now the problem is, I am getting good internet on Vista and on desktop(using ethernet) but Ubuntu cannot. The drivers are all set on ubuntu.
What is even more weird is that I can access Internet on Ubuntu when my desktop is using the Internet, without any problems. So, the problem must be between the router and modem. Please help...
P.S. My modem make is TKD 318 UEI (UTStarcom)
