Thread: Help My modem is conneted still not able to see the page!!!

Yesterday, mtnl guy came at my place and did all the settings to configure the modem I feel he did it correctly and the modem was connected to the net but it was not able to open any page , it was able to ping to mtnl servers ip but not able to do it with other website .If any one has gone through this before plz help me out here

Are all the lights on modem especially the 3rd one PPoE light on. Then only webpage would display. you can also log into the modem ip address and test various options.

if you are using a external firewall the check access settings or try surfing after u stopped closed the antivirus/spyware/firewall
