Default configuration for setting up connection on DSL-2064T

hey guys, i jus got a new dsl-2064T router to set up wireless connection at my home
but now that i am trying to set up the connection it isnt working, either with the LAN wire or the wireless. though wireless connection is being detected.
also when i am pinging 192.168.1.1 i am getting a reply but i still cannot load any websites.
when i am connecting my old router(DSL-502T the one provided by mtnl originally) my net connection starts working without changing a single connection.
could someone please help me out n tell me what settings to put into my new router in order to make it work?
    thanx

You can try putting your DNS in TCP/IP settings in your lan card as
    203.94.243.70,
    203.94.227.70
And manually configure your IP address as 192.168.1.2; subnet mask 255.255.255.0; gateway 192.168.1.1

Let me know if this helps!
