    Default Desperately need help....

    Well guys this is my last hope so all u out ther plz help me out...

    i hav an mtnl NU849 plan... dude to some odd reason my net used to dc during night which left me frustrated so i did this...

    i used script to reboot modem every 1 hour 30 min usin auto task scheduler...
    all works fine except port forwardin..

    i use utorrent and every time i guess my modem reboots the port isnt forwarded....

    i guess the solution is to get a static ip but how???
    i ahv manually configure my ip but stil there is a variaiton every time..givin me ips lik 59.183.xxx.xxx ....

    my modem is a ut300r2u...

    please help...

    letme know if any additional info is required

    Please visit the "Broadband How To" section and read the "Torrents and Port Forwarding" guide. This will clear the principles.

    To port foward, you have following options:

    a) Setup modem in bridge mode - all ports will be forwarded
    b) Assign static IP address to the PC and assign this address in the NAT/DMZ option of the modem.
    c) If modem allows "Virtual Server" or "Port Forwarding" use this option (best option)
