Good news for all Broadband subscribers!
MTNL is planning to launch Wimax services for its suscribers in Mumbai, Navi- Mumbai @ Thane Mira Bhayandar.
MTNL has invited to submit bids for future wimax operations in mumbai.

man dont get so excited they just have started the bidding process it will take a long time to get deployed after passing through all the red tape

hey why wouldnt i be happy its just that i dont like mtnls way of functioning
when one of my friends applied 4r a new connection in october 2007 he was told that he would get it in jan 2009 such a long time just 4r a new connection then how much time will they take 4r deploying wimax

Mtnl has made no announcements about what their wimax broadband plans will be like.

But this is for sure that they will have a few unlimited plans aswell besides some limited data transfer plans.

unlimited plan for 2500rs/mtnh again?......

if they have unlimited plan for less than 2500rs/mnth in mumbai, then no 1 will take their broadband service....

so i guess it will be same 2500rs/mnth for mumbai users even in wimax..

in any case, i think they cnt have seperate plans for wimax and broadband.. it jst doesnt make sense...
