Thread: Linksys AM300 admin page not accessible

Hi all!

I use Linksys AM300 modem for my internet connection. I have configured the modem to be in the PPPoPe mode. But in this mode I am not able to open the admin page of the modem using 192.168.1.1 for some reason. But when I disconnect the DSL line and then try accessing the same it works. It also works if the modem is in the bridge mode. Although its no big issue since it is not something we access everyday, I still need to know why this happens? Kindly help me on the same. Except for this little issue I believe it is the best modem in the market.

PS: I upgraded the firmware of my modem thinking of it as one possible remedy, but still nothing happened.

You have not enabled DHCP in the modem probably.Check.
