hey guys...does anyone know ,how to play counter strike on net....does any one has indian servers ip's

--> Get counter strike source/counter strike 1.6 /counter strike Condition Zero

-->Download steam

-->Create an account (free)

-->log into any one of the many servers listed

(Before that u need to registor ur copy of CS with steam .. you need cd key(original))

i dont have original cd..is there any other way to play

Yes... Assuming that u've an internet connection on the computer u wanna play CS and a credit card(to subscribe to CS games)...

Go on Welcome to Steam

download setup of Steam (its a client required to play online) by clicking on "Get Steam Now" link which is there at the left frame of the page...

install steam by running the just downloaded setup...

it will take a while to upgrade itself from internet...

When its finally done, a login control will pop-up...

Click on the create account...

fill the required fields...

when done steam will automatically connect...

Go in the store section of the Steam client...

Type Counter strike in the search field...

A list of different packs of CS will come up

Basic pack of 2 games counter strike & condition zero are charged at $9.99...

A complete pack of 3 games counter strike, condition zero & source r priced at $29.99...

Select ur choice by clicking on purchase...

fill ur credit card details... now u own ur chosen games of counter strike...

Assuming u have purchased the games by the above mentioned method and still connected to internet...

connect the steam using ur username and password...

choose the "My games" tab at steam client...

u sud b able to see the list of ur purchased games...

right click on the games and select "install game" from the dropdown menu...

Thats it... Steam will automatically download all the files and install the games..

my internet speed is 256kbps

now i have started playin on GG client ..i usually play on indian servers..on that i get lag of 100-130...
