Default Mtnl mobile is the cheapest in Delhi

I recently got a new Mtnl post paid connection and its got no monthly charges atall so just pay what you use and STD calls to any network or land line ar Rs1.25 per min and local is 80 paisa I think.
The best part is that mtnl provides unlimited gprs at Rs 349 a month and Delhi has EDGE so its not bad atall for that price.

The only problem is that I find Mtnl's EDGE gprs a lot slower then the reliance data card Ive been using all this while.. Any one else using Mtnl gprs?

MTNL is definitely the cheapest mobile service in NCR.
However, they have some billing issues. In one-two months, the would not reflect all the calls and the bill would be very less. Then the next month they would load all previous calls and the bill would be very high. I had a tough time convincing my office people that those were earlier months' calls.
Reliance data card uses CDMA so it is expected to be faster than GSM GPRS

I used to have a MTNL mobile, but the coverage was awful, and a lot of the times calls do not get connected, and even when some tries to call you they can not get through either! So i eventually gave up on the service!
