Thread: Help! False high speed on speed testing MTNL gprs

i just did speed test on my nokia x2-01 to check my gprs speed.

becasue i got unreal results, i checked on 3 sites.. but still i et same results

the results is showing up as insane 3200kbps - 4200kbps range. From my usage, i am definite the speed is nowhere near that high... i and in graph it shows even way above ADSL 2+ speeds... 3g is far behind the graph in which my result in shown..

i tried the same tests on mobilespeedtest.com, dslreorts.com, texan.net and 2-3 more. i dont remember..

also i tried on both browsers of my mobile .. opera mini as well as nokia browser.

what do you suggest? how to find it?

how is speedtest helpful when you are running a wiresless internet? prone to weak signals from the tower

ok easiest way to know speed is

its 1000kbs (or 1mb).. check the time it takes in seconds... and you can take out the per sec..
