Thread: MTS Mobile call quality

Anyone using MTS mobile? Although this a fairly new service provider in India, I am assuming many may have got this new connection so I wanted to know what the MTS mobile call quality is like.

i am using MTS in blr karnataka since 2 months.voice quality is 2 gud.but roaming/SMS tariff is bad.

I am from bhilwara rajasthan i am using mts from 6 months. its voice quality & network coverage are very good
no call drops.
it is the cheapest service provider in my area i am using 78/-recharge which reduces my call rates to 1/2 paisa per second to any local network & 1/4 paisa per second to mts network (even to land line) & 1 paisa per second to all std calls for a period of six months. Other companies also have similar schemes but there is always a condition or monthly recharge to keep your call rates down. most of my calls are done in local ie in rajasthan only. also you get full recharge value on 200/-,300/-500/-recharge ie tds is not deducted.my monthely telephone bill is reduced to mere 200 from 1200 per month .
I found only one problem that is because it is a CDMA network there is not much choice of handsets. I was previously using zte handset but its earphone sound was very sharp and it is a slow handset then i switched to samsung superstar its sound quality is superb

So I suppose call quality is really good, which is a plus point, but then there are drawbacks of high roaming charges! But for those who dont travel much its ok for them!
