MTS mobile tariff plans are as follows:

Lifelong Validity (till 24th Jan 2028)

Value of sim card is Rs99 and Talk Value is Rs10

Call Charges (Rs./min)
Local Calls:
To MTS mobiles cost is 1 paisa per 2 seconds
To other mobiles and landlines cost is 1 paisa per second

STD Calls:
All mobile and landlines calls cost 1 paisa per second

SMS Charges
Local sms charges are 50 paisa per message
National sms charges are Rs1 per message
International sms charges are Rs5 per message

Roaming Tariff

Incoming
Calls Rs1 per minute
SMS free incoming

Outgoing
Local calls Rs1 per minute
SMS local and national cost is Rs1.50 per SMS

Outgoing STD
Calls are Rs1.50 per minute
SMS international is Rs5 per SMS

Logic-less. Now every operator provides 1 paise per second tariff on own network.

but they are giving half the rate than others - 1 paise per 2 second on own network. Isnt it good ?

The “Onam” special ‘Double Talktime Offer' will enable all the new MTS subscribers to avail “Double Talk time” on all standard top-ups for the next one year, first of the kind in telecom industry. MTS offers a colour handset, SIM with lifetime validity and a double talk time to the customers at an attractive price of just Rs 699. All local calls would be charged at the rate of 1 paisa (p) / second and STD calls would be charged at 3 paisa / 2 seconds.

With Double Talk time effective rate for all local calls will be just 30p/min and STD just 45p/min. This attractive offer is available for a period of 30 days all across Kerala, Mr K. Sunil, Chief Operating Officer, Kerala and Tamil Nadu said.
