Thread: Whats up with this new Moderator Approval ?

For past few hours I'm getting a message whenever I post a reply saying that my post will not be visible until a moderator approves it.

Is it me or is everyone getting this message. If this is a general rule may I please ask the moderators what compelled them to do so ?

Has there been any new rules added to the forum ?

it happens if u link warez site links or if there are too many links in your thread.. once it happend it for me.. here.. rest only admin can tell us......

I used to get such messages sometimes earlier. Admin got tired of this and made me a moderator.

So maybe it is not a bad thing at all.

Seriously though, this may be some glitch. A post goes into moderation usually if the software rules are broken like external links, etc. But sometimes posts are going into moderation for no reason at all.

I got that message once. I didn't post any external or internal links. Just plain text (not even a smiley).

I got this message for 1 Hour on 9th Oct then problem was solved

I have no idea why some messages go into moderation some times and it happens randomly ... Its not something I have done

I am sure this problem will be solved once we upgrade the forum script but I am waiting for the new stable release and also the theme for the new version.

Sorry about the trouble... I make it a point to check moderation que when I login and clear any messages which are there.

This doesnt happen every day its probbably somethign to do with the akismat spam reporting this probbabloy but we cannot take it off because if we do we would get thousands of spam posts here every day and I would be sitting here deleting them all.

I am sure this problem will be sorted out soon. Please give it some more time.
