Student nearly Beaten to Death !

People check out this Ghastly video of a student[Law College] who was nearly beaten to death with sticks ,tubelights and clubs by his fellow students ....write in front of 20 odd policemen who were watching the show!

He had just come out of the college after writing his semester exams .... It was some kind of gang war which started due to some caste issues .....

What you see in the video ....

First the news reader says something in Tamil .... Next you see a group of Law students beating one of their fellow students ..... He is lying by the vehicle [bike]....this boy[red shirt and white shirt] is later shown limping around[leg broken] ....Another one of his friends[white shirt] comes in to save him .... he tries fighting them off .... The other boys beat him unconscious with clubs ! ... I heard that the boy died later in the hospital ......

These students are supposed to be our Future Lawyers .......
And policemen watching the show

thats pretty ghastly sight u have shown today mate,
wonder what caused this.

Thats really sad.

The police were seeing this...When asked them why they dint try to stop the fight...They (police) said that they were waiting for the permission from the college head...This is disgusting...

i have seen one such instance myself. Police hardly helps.

So now they need permission for saving someone (guilty or not),
they need permission for chasing crooks out of jurisdiction,
they even need permission 4 gettin a man having a heart-attack on road to a hospital...............

What can I say, they r also under constant pressure from politicians and those human rights bastards who seem to favour crooks and terrorists more than innocent victims.

Political Party = political Mudslinging/Blame Game
Between Opposition who want the irresponsible Govt to step down [like they r any better and really give a damn about this issue] and their party in power

Did that boy die ? ..... I am unable to confirm that part of the news

The sad part is that boy who was beaten to death/ near death was not the target ...

The target boy was being beaten by the gang when this boy went in to save him

things like this is happening every second in some part of india.
sometimes a collegeboy gets beaten by rival union over some issue neither of them understand,
sometimes its a poor farmer set ablaze by local politician when he refuses to hand over his land,
sometimes its a doctor being beaten to death by relatives of a patient he just killed by negligence..........

it doesnt matter which party is right and which one is wrong.
All that matters is we are all victims of a blind-folded lady called justice who seems to be omnipresent but in reality has gone on vacation since 1947.

That's very sad...I can't watch the video as I am office but I am getting the hint of the scenario with all your above posts

Police cannot be entirely blamed on this issue. The rivalry between Law college students and Police is only too well known in these parts of the country.

And if past is any indication, even if the police enter into the college the entire student community will protest and cause disturbance to public.

Also it was alleged that the principal denied permissiion because of the above issue.

Its a pathetic state of the future of our country.

So we have to jus consider the students as taking their practical exam.

police should be able to enter every place without hesitation ...... if they r not strong, how the hell r they gonna save the innocent, by delivering a speech ???

Well, unfortunately thats the situation here.

When govenment is itself is organsing bandh and strike, pray wat can I say about the condition of the police.

If they enter the college, they will have to put up the entire student community(who suprisingly forget their differences and unite) and if they don't they have to face public 's ire. Either way they are in trouble and more so in former case since more politics is involved.

As for as the students are concerned, well they are ruthless guys , esp these law coll guys, both the people who caused the trouble and those who got injured as well.

So i would say they are reaping the result of their own actions.

The wise ones jus stay away from all the trouble untill the dust clears.

Hey, I still can't understand what the issue was, why was the student being beaten?
