    Unhappy Heavy Rain across Chennai

    Is been raining heavly here in Chennai for the past 1 week.The roads are flooded with water.The water level is upto the hip.Water have gone into the houses.Perople are outsite their houses.There is no power for 2 days.All the schools & colleges are closed for past few days.Its a nightmare for office going poeple.There's heavy traffic. More rain is forcasted for next 2 days.
    It has never rained like this before. It makes me remember of the Mumbai rain.
    Normal life has been heavly disturbed.

    Theres no power in my area for d past 4 days.Its expectd 2 come in 2 days.The telephone line is dead.Im posting this 4m my mobile.I wont b online till d above issues get resolvd.
    Btw: i have takn off 4m office 4 a week

    omg.....this is like really bad!!!! btw its been raining in ahmedabad since last 2 days.....but its not gone as worse as these....!!!! I guess this is the effect of GLOBAL WARMING.......

    Hmmm i missed the whole flood action .... i was thankfully out of station when it happened ......

    Now its much better .... No floods atleast

    No :lol:

    Only Mild summers [oct - jan] ..... Once in few years we have rainy season [ the voilent flooding kinds] ... otherwise only summers and mild summers thru out the years :lol:

    Well, floods are affecting all Indians... :sad: Hope government build many dams and repair older ones... to reduce the flood-like situation across the country...

    I'm surprised to know that rainy season is not a norm there... how is the state of agriculture? I mean from where farmers get water for irrigation?

    Always fighting with Karnataka for Cauvery River water :lol: :lol: ..... U mUsta Heard in the news ??
