Rallies banned in Mumbai; cops say it's for security

The Mumbai police have banned assembly of five or more people in the city from December 5 to December 19 saying they cannot risk security.

Police say rallies and procession will not be allowed during the period, as they fear inflammatory speeches may endanger in the security. According to the police, the ban will not apply to weddings, funerals or other family ceremonies.

really these politicians are very cunning.isn't guys.
they will not let the people speak and make others aware.

i think the reason for those dates are the anniversary of the demolition of a particular structure. they have got warnings already of an attack it was in toi yesterday.

its not that they permanently banned the meetings... yes these politicians are the most cunning n rediculous jerks in our country... pure criminals

but i think we all shud also think about our own security first before assembling in such large numbers as i've seen today at the gateway of india... what if someone starts a bomb rumour or something like that... ... i make it a point to stay out of crowded areas.

You speak as if there is a choice.

At the most, what our vote can do is , choose the lesser eveil..... only for it to grow into yet another juicy , ugly spider.


Sadly education does'nt neccesarily promote goodness as far as politicians are concerned. It allows them to take calculated, informed decisions of the best way to rob people without inviting their attention.

what can we do ? we have no options. all the parties are the same. i even sometimes feel like putting my nationality in college forms as "screwed".

these along with the one's with a criminal record! i think in the US even citizens with a criminal record are not allowed to vote, let alone making these criminals ministers!

we learn everything but the good points from the western society thats our problem.

me and friends backed out from voting this year and no one went to vote
we really don't want to get this blame anymore that its the same govt which is chosen by us.

I am not sure why these politicians call India as mother when they are always busy fuc**ng our own country. Don't you think this simply means all of our politicians are Motherfuc**rs

Yes you're right...its us who have to decide whom to choose..if we all backed out then we'll be left with only those people voting who have been paid to do this..which means Wrong people in command
