TATA motors has an agreement with MDI france to develop a car that would run on compressed air. [no CNG/LPG - plain simple AIR]. It was supposed to free us from the shackles of the pertorl/diesel engines.
The car was supposed to hit the market by end of 2008, but seems to have been delayed for now as all focus has shifted to the Nano.
