First Lunar Eclipse Of The Year 2009 today !!

Well here is something which maybe of interest if u are into astronomy. Like mentioned in the title, the first lunar eclipse of 2009 will occur today. The first solar eclipse had occurred precisely 11 days ago. Now this eclipse will be easily visible to the eye.

For the interested ones here are the timings :

* Eclipse begin time: 18:08:46 IST
* Greatest eclipse time: 20:08:15 IST
* Eclipse end time: 22:07:40 IST

The second pic displays the regions where the eclipse will be visible worldwide. Light Shaded Regions : Eclipse will be visible during moon rise and moon set. Dark Shaded Regions : Eclipse will not be visible. White Shaded Regions : Eclipse completely visible.
