    Quotes about India.

"We owe a lot to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made."

    Albert Einstein.

"India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend and the great grand mother of tradition."

ALL OF THE ABOVE IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG, THE LIST COULD BE ENDLESS. BUT,

If we don't see even a glimpse of that great India in the India that we see today, it clearly means that we are not working up to our potential; and that if we do, we could once again be an ever shining and inspiring country setting a bright path for rest of the world to follow. I hope you enjoyed it and work towards the welfare of INDIA.

yep its very good .... the proverb hold good for us.... "We will never know the value, until we loose it"
We Indians are so careless we do not value the things around us.... there are many things originally discovered in INDIA but patent to other countries ex: the Spices ... its the best example whole world knows that INDIA is the home of spices but still almost 90% of the spices we use are patent to other countries not us....

Don't you think Mark Twain is going a bit overboard with this?

p.s He also said, The coldest winter he experienced was
summer in San Francisco, so we should probably take his
words with a grain of salt ;-)

How about posting updates as you find them here, like this we'll all know about the latest achievements by india and its people. Would be encouraging.

How does this rep system work, you guys repped here twice, and i remember some reps in some previous posts and thread too, but my Rep Power is still one, under my IBF credentials.

There are three ways you gain power in Reps-

    1. Your rep power will increase by 1 every 1000 posts...
    2. It will increase by 1 every 100 rep points awarded to you by forum members...
    3. Your rep power will also increase by the time you spend on forum... I'm not sure about the duration but I guess you gain a rep point every 12 months or more!

Thats where Rep power come into play... U get as many rep points as the Rep power of the member... For example - if I rep somebody, it will have a weightage of 5 rep points!

well there are definately benefits of bein a populated country but theres lot to do in our country.....look @ china....how thy used their man power.

We too can take the advantage...but ppl here thy jus want money n dont want to work.....thy want to do things in a wrong n easier way than hard work......which is one reason our country is here...
Dont count wat u lost, cherish wat u ve & plan wat to gain...coz past neva returns but future may return the lost! Think-Decide-Act!!!!
