Like inter-caste marriage is still not successful.Now govt. is giving special Privilege to inter-caste marriage couple to promote it but still it not get such success

you should see the arunachalis. i sometimes really feel bad how my native people misuse reservations. all non deserving people are studying in delhi mumbai bangalore etc while it might be a possibility they may not be passing for years and the stipend they get its never used for any useful purpose as their parents are already loaded while the really brainy poor guys get stuck as they dint have the money to influence the politicians or bureaucrats to get themselves admitted in good institutions.

People only vote because for their self interest.

I'm sure voting was rigged this yr. you would have noticed how chidambaram "won".

btw in places like madurai, if u value your life, you gotta vote buddy. as for the poor they offer wine,chicken briyani + 5k / ration card, still think they won't vote ??

well on that context i need to be real luck i married a bengali brahmin but his family members never made me feel low about my tribe or caste and thats what is modernisation. so i dont feel any discrimination.its all created by the politians for their benefits. people have changed their mindsets in this era.

That's why i am asking you .you are really lucky but not all of them my mother side also Brahmin (Mukherjee) but not my father side(my father side is Das) she did also inter-caste marriage.But she faced lots of discriminating and insult from relative.Even few people said something about me also.

A valid point. But I say, give it to anyone, but why you need creamy layer at 4.5 lakhs ? All the dalits has gone rich in this country ?

thats sad. its true that women face more discrimination than men do.

obviously the IDEAL method is to abolist all quota and give free education to all.

Ideal and probably a utopian thing to do is to remove the Caste mention in your birth, school, college and marriage certificates. No mention of caste...no discrimination.

My opinion is if they have come to quite normal position in society then parent can think that they will not give such benefit their child.May be that's morally right
But just think how many Indian people in all society are doing morally right thing.

Now did you know even their is genetic difference present between lower cast and upper caste.
Now why I will explain in one long reply about that.

well even my mom went for inter cast marriage as she is assamese and my papa is arunachali and no doubt she had her share of sufferings by papa's family but what mattered was did papa cared enough. its not because of caste even when people marry within caste the in laws family always have something against the lady so i dont think it is anyways related to caste or creed.

see quota system works on your birth certificate and other official documents. it doesn't matter what people think, if there is no official record for it...it does not exist. That is how bureaucracy works. And we should exploit that.
