Thread: A Raja could be the Telecom Minister

My prayers are answered. Azhagiri is not going to handle Telecom. But it is still A Raja. Nothing good we can expect from him. I was really hoping Maran back on Telecom. It seems he had been sidelined to take textiles. Karunanidhi do not believe him anymore.

India should really focus on basic infrastructure to become world leaders. Roads, power and telecom can cast magic on India's already booming economy.

Yep maran was good while he lasted.... prolly he did too many good things for not to be given the post this time

its really bad to see. how just one family are clashing on for diff ministeries...

hey they are right now working only at state level, there's another party goin like this at national level for 3 decades

Karunanidhi has more than one family and he has a good work in hand to manage a balance between all three. Both Azhagiri, Kanimozhi and Stalin were born to Karunanidhi, but they have a different mother. Maran is grand nephew of Karunanidhi.

i really hoped maran would enter the scene but hell atleast he is the cabinet god willing if raja can again screw up the 3g thing we could have a chance of maran as the tel minister

Raja is a crook. This sob is trying to benefit Airtel and reliance by not approving equipment purchases. We all know what he did with 3G spectrum. May god bless india and punish people like raja.

Maran did so much for the telecom sector.He was (atleast during his tenure) the one who upgraded the speeds of Bsnl plans to 2mbps.He proposed to give free Broadband internet to all Bsnl users.If only that had happened the competition would have increased a lot and we would be getting a lot better speeds by now.Not only that he seemed so active.He was such a dynamic person unlike Raja who looks very inactive.The Textiles sector is lucky to have Maran.

Telecom ministery is to earn money...
I dont call up names.. but i think, they are doing nothing new, besides everything is happening all over the globe and not just our India.. so why praise these guys??

even a nation like Pakistan has better internet/telecom specs than us..
