Rep Power: 0  |  Did you guys check this ? Pakistan ahead of we Indians Check the PTCLdotCOMdotPK and look out for their broadband rates. The unlimited plans, in a country like Paksitan where infrastructure sucks big time, is offering the plans at less than half the price we pay. Scroll to the bottom of the page and check tarrif. Thay have UL 1, 2 , 4 MBPS. IF you convert it into Indian Currency, Unlimited 1 MBPS =Rs. 661 Unlimited 2 MBPS=Rs. 1180 Unlimited 4 MBPS=Rs. 2950 ANd I am paying Rs 1300 for UL512kbps Sorry i am a new guy so don't have the rights to post weblinks. | Man BSNl seems pathetic compared to them. I mean they are so professional and all. Unlimited 1 Mbps for 700 bucks is a dream and they have student plans too, all this SANS the Fish User Policy |

| May be they got some subsidy. After all, they are funded with free US dollars. Musharaff was jealous of India's rise as a global power in software. May be he initiated the subsidy. |

| I think its more of a demand supply problem in Indian ....bandwidth demand is high and supply is less ...... even sri lanka has cheaper BB rates |
