Is there any1 here who are aspiring 4 or pursing or have done their MS in US?
Wanted to know the pro's and cons of spring & fall seasons...

most of the universities have more admissions in the Fall. your chances are
better.
The teaching assistants will graduate in the fall so there is a chance
you might assistantship in the fall.
Spring will be too cold for a new comer to the northern states ;-)

From the inputs I got from my daughter, Fall would be better for various reasons and Farce has mentioned a couple of them.
To a certain extent it depends on the courses offered in the two seasons in the University you want to study. Sometime there are prerequisites for certain courses and if you complete them in fall, you can choose them in Spring. Also it is easier to find accommodation in Fall as you can plan with other entrants many of whom will be joining in Fall. If you go in Spring, it is difficult to fit in as you have to find someone who is vacating in spring so that you can join his roomies. Also, the weather will be more pleasant and manageable in Fall rather tha Spring, especially if you are going to some University in the northern or eastern part.

I have put the add-on.. Pretty cool!! But i guess it is time limited.. Thanks anyway
