An advanced laser technology has been developed by the US Air Force. This technology is being planed to be implemented into the Hercules aircraft. This weapon is called the long-range blowtorch. The laser technology used here is the Advanced Tactical Laser (ATL) and the main advantage behind this is plausible deniability, i.e., it does not leave any munitions that could trace back the source of the destruction. This very technology is quiet promising as it involves destruction but without any clue of the source. Hence, this technology will help in denying any sort of involvement in the destruction. This ATL technology can deliver the heat of a blowtorch with a range of 20 kilometers.
