After 9 /11, US has started its so called war against terror. It has met success to a great end. Even after the military assault in Iraq and Afganistan US is still waiting for the action to complete. Recently an AlQaeda operative tried to blow up an aircraft in Christmas eve has sent shock waves across the top order of US administration. President Barack Obama has accused Pak - Afgan border as the epicenter of terrorism. He also expressed his concern over Yemen and Somalia becoming a safe operation base for Al Qaeda. He added that he has no intention to sent military troops to any other sovereign territory.

The Al Qaeda operative was a Omar Farooq of Nigerian origin. He tried to blow up the plane by mixing two explosive chemical. However the attempt was neutralised by the passenger as they won a fight on the terrorist.
