Thread: Beef for commonwealth games

As most of you may have already heard that there is a massive debate going on about wether to include beef in the menu for commonwealth games or not.
In all the western countries and even Asian countries most people's daily food includes beef in one way or the otherand it is hard to imagine how they would react
when they dont find any beef dishes in the menu. BJP like always have the Hindu flag in their hands and are opposing the idea of providing beef for forign teams.
I personally think beef should be served just like pork. This is not a Hindu nation and is supposed to be a secular democracy so why double standards with pork and beef then?
If pork is served then wont it hurt the sentiments of Muslims? So why such hue and cry over beef?
