Thread: Google Books downloader

This app i came to know yesterday through username Wizard in Techforumindia, so all credits to him.

This application can download a book which you have searched from Google books(book.google.com)

Just copy the url from right click or copy it from the address bar and paste it onto the application's url field and you click start.
The application is very smart so you dont need a very fast internet connection, if you dont have one to download a say 2 - 4 mb book that contains ~200 pages or more. You can select which kind of output file you want, pdf or image file (jpg) and resolutions ex. 800pxl - 1200pxl and more. You can also select the output directory where you want to download the book. Paid and free books are both available.


The app will not ask for you Google's books account.
con: it sometimes leave the page which for some reasons it cannot download and moves onto next page with an error mentioning that the page couldnt be loaded.

This is great! Thanks for the sharing. I often do the reading from the web-PDF only. With this software, I could have download the book to my local disk.
