Yeah open up your company i.e. buisness as if it is a success there is infinite amount of money ......... there's a saying
"Jab Khuda deta hai to chapparh phaarh ke deta hai"
same is the case if your buisness afloats on the 7th layer of the skies!!!!
I dont get you.
If you are hard workin and willing and have some decent processor in you head, you will have success in any field you take. You can be a doctor, a physisist or even a painter if you want (look at M.F.Hussain , you might not need talent either ). If you are interested in a quick way to job and glory then I must say the IT field looks a bit troubled now. Three of my friends are still waiting for their joining in two of the most reputed IT companies. It seems that the long feared saturation point is imminent in IT sectors. But all these small talk shouldnt matter in your life anyway, cause if you really want to be someone then take the field you like best. If its IT, then IT it is.
My advise is, don't just look at the money alone and decide coz then u'll never make the right decision..... like leo mentioned decide which field u like and work upon it.
Best wishes

Hi,
After the recession hit India , IT companies did take the brunt of the damage . But heres the real story
-->Experst forecast that recession may last upto 2 years in India .... Obama's policies will def have a significant effect on this number
-->As far as Indian IT industry is concerned , it looks very optimistic [inspite of what doomsayers like to predict] ..... Industry experts predict that there will be 3xx million vacancies which need to be filled in the future.
-->Indian companies have been cutting bonuses , salaries , oversees Indian employee pools etc but there have been far less retrenchment [relative to US /Europe].....
-->Technology/computer Industries are here to stay ..... it may go up and down but will never disappear....
-->Recession has also hit most of the other industries like real estate , textile exports , service sector , tourism etc ..... There are very few industries like [Pharmaceuticals , medicine] that have not been hit .... what u shuld remember is that , its a temporary phenomena
Qualifications u mean ?
I can tell u that ... but tell me if you r a school or a college student

As far as Indian companies like wipro , infosys , TCS is concerned
*An Engg degree [preferable IT or CSC dept] without arrears at the time of placement .
Aggregate percentage varies according to the companies
*For offcampus u should have completed ur degree .
*Presented a minimum of 2 papers in any recognized college . The more the better . Not necessary to have won it tho
*Excellent foundation [Basics] in any one chosen fav subject in your field . Example :Operating system or maybe Embedded system in It field etc etc
*Very good at any one programming language preferably in C or C++ or Java .... Should be able to code any kinda of simple problems in these language
*Proficiency in any other OS is considered a Bonus [Apart from Windows]
*Excellent Communication skills [verbal]
*should clear the aptitude round
optional
*sports or quiz or some other participation

If ur in 3rd year now , the best possible route for u would be to
Get a job now and work for 2-3 years ... after which u can apply for a degree in a reputed B-School in India or Abroad... if u r good then the company u work in might even sponsor ur study ..... Most reputed B-Schools require working experience , thats the reason i said so ....
If you want to go straight from BTech to MBA , u have a handful of good institutes like St Xavier that do not take into account ur work experience .... Then u should start preparing for ur CAT or MAT or in case of Xavier it would be XAT ..... But generally the first route is preferred if u r aiming for the IIMS or some equivalent
I gave my best for CAT,twice...but didn't clear the 1st round itself....1st time my percentile was around 85,second time it was 89....then I decided not to go for CAT again...But I badly wanted to do MBA....& also I can't take a break from my work..so decided to do MBA part time....next month I have my 1st sem examz....![]()
