Thread: Google Android products to get Touch Revolution's expertise

One of the notable features of Apple's iPhone was its touchscreen technology. And people can never forget Mark Hamblin who had worked on perfecting the touchscreen of the iPhone. His firm now known as Touch Revolution is said to be working with Google Android with the same intention -- to bring touch screen technology to Android derived products. Devices like HTC G1 already feature Google Android. Some of the products which are being looked after by Touch Revolution are a remote control, land-line telephones featuring touch screens, restaurant kiosks featuring touch screens.

G1 has many features that iPhone lack.
but it lacks in that one iconic "touch" feature.
so if the "touch" comes to G1 it might become the ruler. but would there not be intellectual property / copyright issues with Apple?

its good that new technologies are being worked upon but such home appliances like phones, remote controls will become more difficult to handle and use with this touch screen technology
