Default PC Crashed? Never post in a public forum!

Hackers are becoming smarter by the day. Suppose a newbie user posts in a public forum about the mishap that has occurred to his PC. There maybe a few good samaritans around who might take a look and suggest possible alternatives. Beware that hackers are also going through the thread, they might contact the original author through PM, offers to *help*, says specialized software required to solve the problem and sends him infected exes of softwares which while run makes the PC a bot for transmitting occasional messages and information to the parent server.

Scared? Self help is the best help. Google is your friend and the answer lies within it.

yes, coz even after googling such problems we end up getting the solution in some forum. forums cannot be ruled out for discussing such problems. PMs from unknown sources should obviously be avoided.
