    Default Hotmail Wave 3 updates rolled out

    Hotmail currently the number two email service provider has announced its last Wave 3 updates today. Some of the updates are Unmetered Storage Space, POP3 access to more markets, Lesser intrusive Ads, Quick Add, Newer Themes, Ability to add HTML to Signatures, and Integration Of Web Messenger to the email inbox. The integration of web messenger is not an official update as it is not listed along with the others, but leaked out by an employee.

    wow ... lot of features indeed ... but i never used hotmail and am very much satisfied with mail services like yahoo, gmail and rediff ... many sites and online services in india have some compatibility problems with hotmail... many sites recommend not to use hotmail to register as their mails are treated as spams (not exactly spams ... kinda ) and are not delivered to hotmail accounts

    FInally they thought of giving out POP 3 access. !!! IF only yahoo followed the suit.... :38:

    i dont think pop3 access will be free for general users ...

    It is free for general users too, although they had initially charged for it.
