Thread: Nokia set to launch Symbian App Store

Apple is raking up millions thanks to its App store designed exclusively for iPhone users. Blackberry also followed the suit and now posses a Blackberry Application Storefront, with exclusive freebies for Blackberry users. Nokia too is jumping into the bandwagon and will be shortly announcing a Symbian Applications Store. This announcement is expected to be done in Mobile World Congress 2009. If this store indeed comes into effect millions will be able to download softwares and other utilities for their phone directly from the store, thus eliminating third party vendors. And with the large amount of Nokia fans, the firm is expected to rake up millions just like its predecessors !!

great news :clap: ... finally some good symbian apps for us ... those third party apps we use are mostly pathetic ....
