Default Telefonica, other telcos to launch Linux phones

Linux based operating systems for mobile phones are the talks of the day. Telefonica along with five other mobile service providers have already shown their integrity towards such phones by launching them in their network. These other five providers are Vodafone, Orange, Japan's NTT DoCoMo, Korea's SK Telecom, and Verizon Wireless of the US. Nokia's Symbian was leading the race, but lately some of the market pie has been taken away from them by Apple and RIM. Google is also in the segment with its Android.
