Palm OS is being scrapped by the parent company for its younger sibling Palm webOS. The company has cited that they wont be manufacturing any more products based on Palm, but will start concentrating more on webOS which was incidentally debuted this January. The support for Microsoft Windows based products is still intact. The decision is crucial because many are waiting for the Palm Pre to be debuted and it is said that more info regarding the future plans will be revealed in the Mobile Congress which is scheduled to be held next week.
